If you haven't been to eBay Singapore site, and if you have a little time to spare, please visit eBay SG. They have made a very big change on that site. It almost looks like eBay.com. Even their My eBay page has improved so much. They now have My Messages, report buttons on their boards, Advance Seach, A-Z Help index, etc...
Wow, how I wish that eBay will make those changes here at eBay PH. But I think I can see it the very near future that eBay PH will also undergo these site transition.
accdg to shuz, sg's launch of its full-service site was what has really been keeping them busy lately... and she confirmed that ebay.sg is still FREE. And there will still be no fees for some time... i guess they still want to get a bigger user base before they start charging fees!
yup, it's a good thing to watch how ebay.sg is changing as most probably ebay.ph will go through the same changes in a few year's time!
I don't like the Community section, it makes you actually look for the AC there! There needs to be a more *hello here is the Answer Center link* way to tell people where to click. . Kath
I also closed my store at Ebay Singapore. I was just about to load all my store inventory there when I read the discussion board that starting August 8th, they will charge store fees.
However, Ebay Singapore's store fee is much cheaper than opening a store at ebay.com. I don't know why their fee structure is different.
Same here. I had to close down my (empty) Store due to the subscription fees. Now I don't have any store to do my test listings.
I think... the reason why eBay SG's store fees is much cheaper than opening a store at eBay US is because items listed at eBay SG won't get any international exposure, because there are no listing fees yet. In time, when eBay SG is already charging listing fees, Store fees will get higher.
