I'm new to ebay, a buyer bought my item. Ebay sent me an email with a link that will make me send an invoice to the buyer. What happens if I do click it, and what are the next steps that I should do?

It would be better if you do things from your My eBay page, as its easier to manage your selling/buying activities from there.

Go to your My eBay page.
Go to your Items Sold.
You'll see there the item you won.
At the right side of the item, you'll see a drop down menu box.
Click the link "Send Payment Information" to send an invoice to your buyer.
If your shipping cost was not specified in the shipping details, you need to fill this field manually.
Or if opt for a meet up, just put 0.00 in the field.
Specify your mode of payment in the "Payment Instructions & Personal Message" section.
Then send the invoice.

The buyer should respond to the invoice by "checking out".
When the buyer checks out, you'll receive the buyer's shipping information and how they want to pay for the item.

You can also communicate with the buyer through eBay's messaging system.
Just click on the buyer's user id and click Contact Member.
Communication is the key in finalizing the transaction.
