Hi!~ I have 2 accounts in eBay, one is my selling account and the other is for my personal buying. I've been buying from eBay since last year and its only this year that I've started selling. I just noticed that I can't leave a negative feedback to a buyer who did pay for my item. I already closed the case because it's been almost a month and resolved with having the buyer not paying the item (and it was recorded daw, etc).
However, I still want to leave a feedback but every time I try to do so my only choice would be "Positive" and "I'll leave feedback later". Isn't this unfair? Is there a way for me to leave a negative feedback to the non-paying buyer?
Does not seem fair, but this policy was changed to NO Negatives for buyers, 2 years ago in the USA. What can you do? Unpaid Item Strike is your best option, they will not be able to bid on some future items. You need to set up your account in order to use it, then you can get some revenge. If Unpaid Item Assistant is enabled, it automatically blocks Feedback from buyers who haven't paid. As soon as Unpaid Item Assistant opens a case, the buyer won't be able to leave Feedback on the transaction until the case is closed and you've received payment.
If the buyer didn't pay and didn't respond to the case, an unpaid item is recorded on the buyer's account and any Feedback left by that buyer for that transaction is removed. If the buyer didn't leave Feedback yet, they won't be able to once the unpaid item is recorded.
yes it might be unfair now but i assure you, eBay has done everything and communicated with a lot of people before doing so. it took me 2 years to finally realize why and i hope someday you will too
